And That's How I Died is an exciting light set - collection card game full of tall tales and thrilling adventures. You step into the shoes of a deceased Viking warrior's spirit in Valhalla after an epic death. Each turn, create an Adventure by playing 3 cards - a Beginning, a Middle, and an End. You can pick these cards from your 6 - card hand or the Pool in the center of the table. Adventure cards give you Glory points and powerful effects. If all 3 cards are of the same color, it's a Legendary Adventure worth double points! Every adventure brings you closer to 'death', shown by accumulating Damage points. Reach 15 or more Damage, and you're out of the game. But here, dying isn't bad - when you 'die', you score all your Glory points. When all players are 'dead', the one with the most Glory points wins and becomes the greatest Viking warrior ever!

To play And That's How I Died, first, each player takes on the role of a dead Viking warrior's spirit in Valhalla. Start with a hand of 6 cards. On your turn, form an Adventure by playing 3 cards: a Beginning, a Middle, and an End. You can choose these cards from your hand or the Pool on the table. Keep an eye on the card colors, as getting 3 cards of the same color means a Legendary Adventure with double points. As you play adventures, you'll accumulate Damage points. Once you reach 15 or more Damage points, you're 'dead', but don't worry, you still get to score all your Glory points. The game ends when all players are 'dead', and the one with the most Glory points is the winner. There aren't any special maintenance requirements for this card game. Just keep the cards in a dry place and handle them gently to avoid wear and tear.
