It comes with components designed to fit in the original insert and a detailed appendix covering both the core game and the expansion. The expansion features 7 new hive mats, 15 unique frames, and 15 new seed cards, along with a wider variety of tiles, tokens, and a few updated components, adding more fun and variety to the game.

To use this Apiary expansion, simply take out the new components and add them to the core game according to the instructions in the appendix. The new hive mats, frames, and seed cards can be used right away to expand your gameplay. When you're done playing, make sure to put all the components back in the original insert to keep them organized. As for maintenance, just keep the cards and tiles away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent damage. If there's any dust on the components, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
