Beer & Bread is an engaging multi - use card game designed for two players. Its unique alternating - round structure adds a thrilling element to player interaction, card drafting, and resource management. Set in the former monastery lands, two villages share a rich tradition of brewing beer and baking bread. They compete in a friendly rivalry while sharing fields and resources. Each player represents a village. Over six years, which alternate between fruitful and dry seasons, you'll manage resource harvesting, storage, beer and bread production, sales for coins, and facility upgrades. To win, you must balance your baked and liquid goods. After the sixth year, you score only the coins from the good (beer or bread) for which you earned less. The village with the higher score takes the victory.

How to play: First, each player chooses to represent one of the two villages. The game spans six years with alternating fruitful and dry seasons. In each turn, you'll focus on harvesting and storing resources like grains for making beer and bread. Then use these resources to produce your goods. Sell the beer and bread for coins and use those coins to upgrade your facilities. Remember, balance is key. Try to keep a good mix of beer and bread production. After the sixth year, the coins from the type of good you produced less of will count towards your score. The player with the higher score wins. Tips: Plan your resource management carefully, especially during the dry years when resources are scarce. Keep an eye on your opponent's production to adjust your strategy. There's no special maintenance needed for this card game, just keep the cards in a dry place to avoid damage.
