In Cthulhu Gloom, take charge of a group of Lovecraft - inspired protagonists. Lead them into a world of horror and madness, aiming for their untimely end, while your opponents' characters stay annoyingly alive. Your characters can Gibber With Ghouls and Learn Loathsome Lore to get negative points, while you urge your opponents to be Analyzed by Alienists and Just Forget About the Fungus for positive points. The player whose characters endure the most suffering wins when the interdimensional doom strikes.

To play Cthulhu Gloom, first divide the Lovecraftian protagonists into groups for each player. Then, take turns guiding your characters through actions like Gibber With Ghouls and Learn Loathsome Lore. Try to make your opponents' characters gain positive points by suggesting actions such as being Analyzed by Alienists. Keep an eye on the score. When the interdimensional doom event happens, the player with the most - suffering characters wins. As for maintenance, keep the game pieces in a dry and safe place.
