Combine it with any core box or expansion episode. Yog Sothoth enriches the gameplay by adding extra gates on the board, which mirror normal gates and boost the power of enemy summons. For instance, Yog Sothoth's special Monster, Wilbur Whateley, adds a gate every time it dies. But investigators aren't helpless. They can attack and destroy gates, damaging enemies in the same space to control the monster waves.

To use this product, simply add The Elder Box: Yog Sothoth to your Cthulhu: Death May Die game. You can combine it with any episode from the core box or expansions. When playing, remember that Yog Sothoth will add extra gates to the board which will increase the power of enemy summons. Keep an eye on Yog Sothoth's special Monster, Wilbur Whateley. Every time it dies, it will add a gate to the board. As an investigator, try to attack and destroy the gates. This will cause damage to enemies in the same space. When not in use, store the box in a dry and cool place to keep the components in good condition. Be careful not to lose any of the small pieces like the monster tokens and gate cards.
