Fleet: The Dice Game is an exhilarating strategic roll and write dice game crafted by the makers of Fleet. It's more complex than typical roll and write games, bringing the intense and meaningful decision - making of Fleet to life. Suitable for 1 - 4 players. Set in the gorgeous Ridback Bay, the game spans 10 rounds, each with a Boat Phase and a Town Phase. In the Boat Phase, the active player rolls players plus one boat dice. Players take turns choosing a die to use right away. Selecting a boat die lets you mark off the corresponding boat type on your sheet, unlocking license powers and boat launches to catch fish. The remaining die is used by all. In the Town Phase, roll town dice equal to players plus one boat die. Again, players pick a die in turn order. Here, you can unlock special wharf buildings for bonuses, get awesome harbor ships to score points and catch more fish, or go to the market for income and bonus actions. The leftover die is for all players. Fishing happens between phases in even rounds, and the player with the most points at the end wins. There's also a fully integrated solo mode where you compete against Captain Ruth to claim the rewards of Ridback Bay. Now comes with an updated scorepad, deluxe 5 starting captain cards, and 10 trophy award cards!
To play Fleet: The Dice Game, first decide if you're playing solo against Captain Ruth or with 1 - 4 players. The game has 10 rounds, each with a Boat Phase and a Town Phase. In the Boat Phase, the active player rolls the dice. Then, players take turns picking a die to use. Mark off the matching boat type on your sheet to unlock powers and launches for fishing. The die left after everyone has chosen is used by all. In the Town Phase, roll the dice again and pick one in turn order. Use it to unlock buildings, ships, or go to the market. Fishing occurs between phases in even rounds. The player with the most points at the end wins. When handling the game components like the scorepad, captain cards, and trophy award cards, be gentle to avoid damage. Keep the cards in a dry place to prevent warping. If you have any questions during the game, refer back to the basic rules we've just covered.
