In Reiner Knizia's Mille Fiori, you step into the shoes of glass manufacturers and traders aiming to maximize profits from fine glass art production. The game board showcases all aspects of the glass - making cycle, including workshops, residences, townspeople areas, trade shops, and the harbor. With 109 spaces on the board and one card for each space in the deck, the game offers endless strategic possibilities. At the start of each round, players get five cards. After choosing one and passing the rest, they play their cards in turn, placing a colored diamond - shaped token on the board. Different areas have unique scoring rules: in workshops, score based on connected tokens; in residences, score listed points and potentially re - score previous tokens; in the townspeople area, score according to token height in pyramids; in trade shops, score based on covered goods; and in the harbor, move your ship and score based on landing space and row filling. You can also use a card for ship movement instead of placing a token. In a 3 or 4 - player game, each player plays four cards per round. Then, add the last card to those beside the board and start a new round. Meet certain conditions in each area to play bonus cards, which can trigger a chain of bonus plays. There are also five ways to score big bonus points in different areas, but each area's bonus can be claimed only once, and the value decreases for later players. The game ends when someone places their last token or when new hands can't be dealt. The player with the most points wins, establishing the most successful glass dynasty.

How to play Mille Fiori: 1. At the start of the game, each player gets five cards per round. Select one card, pass the rest to the next player, and then take turns playing your card by placing a colored diamond - shaped token on the corresponding location on the game board. 2. In each area (workshops, residences, townspeople area, trade shops, and harbor), follow the specific scoring rules as described in the product description. 3. You can choose to use a card for ship movement instead of placing a token on the board. 4. In a 3 or 4 - player game, play four cards per round, then add the last card to those beside the board and start a new round. Note: - Each area's bonus can be claimed only once, and the value available for later players reduces when a bonus is claimed. - The game ends when someone places their final diamond token or when new hands of five cards can't be dealt. Maintenance: - Keep the cards and tokens in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
