To use the Root Riverfolk Hirelings Pack Expansion, first make sure you have a copy of the Root board game. You can add the hirelings to your game no matter how many players there are. When there are fewer players, simply place the new hireling pieces on the map. This will increase the excitement and give you more ways to play. When there are more players, keep an eye on the hireling cards. Some will flip over during the game, showing new special abilities. Just follow the instructions on the cards to use these abilities. As for maintenance, keep the cards and pieces in a dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent damage. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
