Root: The Clockwork Expansion 2

The Clockwork Expansion 2 is a standalone addition that allows you to compete against four automated factions. Ideal for rounding out games with a small number of players or for cooperative play! Each bot comes with four difficulty levels and four trait cards, granting them unique powers and strategic twists. Also, there's a new Better Bot trait card for each faction from the first Clockwork Expansion. This is an expansion and requires the Root board game, along with either or both of The Riverfolk Expansion and The Underworld Expansion.

To use this expansion, first make sure you have the Root board game and either or both of The Riverfolk Expansion and The Underworld Expansion. You can add this expansion to a game with few players to make it more exciting, or team up with others for cooperative play. When setting up, each bot has four difficulty levels, so choose one that suits your skill. Each bot also has four trait cards that give them special powers. The new Better Bot trait cards from the first expansion add more variety. Keep all the cards in a dry place to avoid damage. When you're done playing, put the cards back in their box neatly to keep them organized.
