Root: The Underworld Expansion

New factions and battlefields are added to the world of Root! The Underworld Expansion features the Great Underground Duchy, an imperial faction combining the Marquise's flexibility and the Eyrie Dynasties' escalation. There's also the Corvid Conspiracy, a secretive group plotting right into opponents' hands. Plus, two new maps await - dig tunnels on the mountain map or fight for ferry control on the lake map.

To use this expansion, just add it to your existing Root game. When setting up, include the new factions and maps. For the Great Underground Duchy, use their unique rules for a mix - of - strategies gameplay. The Corvid Conspiracy works best when you plan secretly. On the mountain map, have fun digging tunnels and on the lake map, focus on the ferry. Keep the cards and pieces in a safe place after playing to avoid losing them.
