To play Ticket to Ride, first, each player gets a set of train cards and ticket cards. The goal is to collect enough train cards to claim routes between American cities on the game board. Use the train cards to run your trains on these routes and earn points. When you complete a route on a ticket card, you get extra points. Be strategic and plan which routes to claim early. Don't forget that your opponents are also trying to get the same routes. As for maintenance, keep the game pieces in a dry place and avoid bending the cards. When not in use, store the game in its box to keep everything organized.
