Foundations of Metropolis

In Metropolis Foundations, players battle across three rounds to become the city's top architect. Buy deeds for empty lots and build new buildings on them. Complex buildings need more lots but offer greater prestige. The player with the most prestige gets named Grand Architect! This standalone game has the same gameplay as Foundations of Rome, but with polyomino pieces and a fresh new theme.

To play Metropolis Foundations, start by setting up the game board and giving each player their starting resources. In each round, players take turns buying deeds for empty lots and constructing buildings. When building, remember that more complex ones need more lots but give you more prestige. Aim to get the most prestige by the end of three rounds to be named Grand Architect. Keep your game pieces in a safe place when not in use to avoid losing them. If the pieces get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Have fun playing and becoming the best architect in the city!
